HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting is also known as Child Care First Aid. It is the course of choice for personnel in the education and care sectors.

Our online first aid course is self-paced for convenience. Allow up to 6 hours for reading and e-Learning but, depending on your learning ability, you could do it in much quicker time.
Hands-on training and assessment follows. For Child Care First Aid, this will take 5 hours in a classroom environment.
Minimum age for accredited first aid certification is 14 years.
CPR assessment requires students to correctly demonstrate performing at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on a manikin placed on the floor.

HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting is valid for 3 years from date of course completion. The same applies to HLTAID010 and HLTAID011. HLATID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, which is included in the HLTAID012 course, should be renewed every 12 months.

Before the day of your scheduled course, you need to submit your completed eLearning by 11:59pm. This is an online first aid course, in the form of a quiz with multiple-choice answers. To be credited with your certification, you'll also need your Unique Student Identifier.USI
