Absolutely loved being trained by Jason today. No rush sharing information and clear communication while sharing with... us his knowledge and expertise . Ill remember the things he taught me for years to come in my field.r Usually these courses are rushed to squeeze a heap of information into a short period, strangely Jason probably covered more in the same time frame and I I feel Ive learnef more. Yesterday was my first ever first aid training experience and I was very disappointed. I wish I had spent more money to... train with a more professional company. The lights in the room weren't working, nor was the recorded footage / presentation that was meant to support the training. Our trainer, Jay, was incredibly arrogant and unprofessional. The session was essentially just the Jay Show. Jay made drug references, used inappropriate language and insinuations about body parts when 'teaching' CPR, and posed hypothetical scenarios in which we were on dates with him when medical emergencies ensued. It wasn't funny and it wasn't appropriate. I will be contacting my university and asking them to take Australia Wide First Aid off their list of recommended training companies.read more

Really enjoyed my experience and the delivery of the training today. Jason was professional in an unconventional way... where myself and the rest of the class didn’t feel like we were dealing with a robot. He was thoroughly engaging and ensured the class was involved and understood the content rather than just reading off some slides and giving (arguably unqualified) attendees their certificates which I imagine is the case with a lot of other first aid and CPR RTO’s. keep up the great standard of education and give Jason a bonus I’d say!read more

Been going to these guys for three years now, never disappoint. This time round it was Jason Trebble, greatly... appreciated the little tangents expressed throughout the course, kept things interesting and grounded in reality. Everything I needed to know, I ended up knowing, so kudos for a efficient and effective teaching method, really appreciate the identify, notify, stabilize motto.Only thing I would recommend is explaining in a little greater detail how to perform some of the movements like lifting a baby for an airway check and what a pistol grip and chin lift looks like (familiar to the veterans, but first timers might be a little fiddly with correct hand positioning). Thanks again my dude, hope you have a great new year and all the best with your future studies 🙂read more

Jason was the trainer for my CPR refresher training course. He is an exceptionally good trainer. Jason’s demonstrations... really showed the correct technique. He highlighted the importance of correct technique demonstrating examples of both good and bad CPR technique. From Jason’s training technique, I feel that I could confidently deal with an emergency situation that required CPR, both for an adult and an infant. Excellent experience. I will request Jason for my First Aid refresher training in 2021. Thank you. Susan Green, Arrow Energyread more

Comparing Provide First Aid & Child Care First Aid

Our Brisbane first aid courses share common competencies and meet the requirements of our regulator and peak industry bodies. Each course teaches the basics in terms of providing first aid and basic life support, and both include CPR.

The courses differ in duration and in the scope of situations they handle. In particular, HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting (Child Care First Aid) has an additional focus on providing first aid for infants and children in emergency situations.

Child Care First Aid is an important addition to the CVs of staff employed in Education and Care settings. It’s also hugely popular with parents. As with the HLTAID003 Provide First Aid certificate, training and qualifications should be renewed every 3 years.

Child Care First Aid is often the course chosen for group training at the client’s own premises. Our public training centres in Brisbane, and elsewhere in and around the Brisbane area (see all our Queensland branches), are also available for group first aid courses.

At Australia Wide First Aid, our goal is to make first aid skills more readily available throughout Australia to help keep people as safe as possible in their homes and workplaces.

Don’t hesitate to call our hotline or leave a message via our contact page.

Types of First Aid

Different first aid courses target specific knowledge and skill sets that apply in different circumstances.

Our most popular course —  HLTAID003 Provide first aid — satisfies Australian workplace compliance. This course incorporates HLTAID002 Provide basic emergency life support, as well as HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, which focuses on the life-saving techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

All our accredited first aid courses are fully compliant and teach you the techniques of first aid professionals.
