NOTE: Plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to course commencement. This allows for everyone to be seated and accounted for. Respecting the busy schedules of all those in attendance, late arrivals cannot always be admitted.

Samantha is your Sydney first aid trainer.

Sam is a highly accomplished instructor who has been training people since 1998, including staff at Westpac and Fuji-Xerox.

As  a director of a childcare centre with multiple locations, she has also taken on the  responsibility for ensuring high standards in the training required of her teams.

Sam also conducts group first aid training for Australia Wide First Aid, delivering first aid course customised for the needs of Sydney businesses and workplaces.

Attending our Sydney first aid course, you’ll benefit from Samantha’s attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. She is an integral part of our ability to keep our first aid training streamlined and seamless.

First aid training step by step

  • Download your First Aid eBook and read the passages relevant to your course, as instructed in your Welcome email.
  • Answer the questions in your e-Learning assignment, referring freely to your eBook. Submit your finished assignment by 11.59pm prior to the day of your face-to-face training.
  • You’ll be required to kneel on the floor to perform CPR uninterrupted on a manikin for at least 2 minutes. Bring a cushion or towel if you need.
  • Your Unique Student Identifier is essential for your first aid certification. Visit the official government website to obtain your free USI.

For example, the standards for people who work with children are set by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). To work with children and be able to confidently respond to accidents within your place of work, you’d need to undertake the prescribed training — Child Care First Aid (HLTAID012 Provide First Aid an education and care setting).

Similarly, our accredited first aid training will teach you how to provide an effective first aid response to a work colleague suffering an asthma attack. This training is included in the Provide First Aid and Child Care First Aid courses.
