First aid in the workplace
Australia Wide First Aid courses focus on the workplace as well as home settings.
We stay abreast of health and safety standards established by the peak bodies in industry, so you can trust your Australia Wide First Aid training will be optimised for safety in the workplace, regardless of the industry.
For example, the standards for people who work with children are set by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). To work with children and be able to confidently respond to accidents within your place of work, you’d need to undertake the prescribed training — Child Care First Aid (HLTAID012 Provide First Aid an education and care setting).
Similarly, our accredited first aid training will teach you how to provide an effective first aid response to a work colleague suffering an asthma attack. This training is included in the Provide First Aid and Child Care First Aid courses.
