  • Download your First Aid eBook and read the passages relevant to your course. Instructions are in your Welcome email.
  • Answer the multiple-choice questions in your e-Learning assignment. Refer freely to your eBook. Submit the finished assignment by 11.59pm prior to the day of your face-to-face training.

HLTAID001 Provide cardipulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

HLTAID003 Provide first aid

Our most popular course, this training is particularly relevant to community and workplace settings.

In Provide First Aid, you learn CPR, use of an AED (automatic external defibrillator), as well as First Aid techniques, such as managing fractures, strains and sprains, treating bites and stings, the pressure immobilisation technique (PIT), and more.

You’ll also learn how to provide an appropriate emergency response for allergy and anaphylaxis, asthma and respiratory distress, control of bleeding, and shock management.
