Face-to-face first aid training & assessment

Your first aid course includes face-to-face training and assessment for CPR and other  techniques. This practical session can be scheduled for a time that suits you and its duration has been minimised.

Conducted within the Dymocks Building on George Street — in the heart of the Sydney CBD — your first aid training and assessment could hardly be more centrally located!

First aid certificate fast-tracked

Your Australia Wide First Aid certificate can be emailed to you the same day you complete your course.

First aid training step by step

  • Download your First Aid eBook and read the passages relevant to your course, as instructed in your Welcome email.
  • Answer the questions in your e-Learning assignment, referring freely to your eBook. Submit your finished assignment by 11.59pm prior to the day of your face-to-face training.
  • You’ll be required to kneel on the floor to perform CPR uninterrupted on a manikin for at least 2 minutes. Bring a cushion or towel if you need.
  • Your Unique Student Identifier is essential for your first aid certification. Visit the official government website to obtain your free USI.

Very informative on what steps are needed, who to call and take charge along with gets things moving to keep the person in critical condition stable and people around you calm as possible. How long does first aid qualification take?

A first aid course can be done in one day, provided you complete the required e-Learning prior to the day of your course.

The online first aid course module comprises e-Learning — reading material (First Aid eBook) plus a multiple-choice questionnaire you can do in your own time.

Just be sure to submit your completed e-Learning by 11:59pm the day before your scheduled face-to-face training and assessment. This practical session is also streamlined, taking 2 to 5 hours, depending on which course you take.

How long does my first aid certificate last for?

The validity period for the Provide CPR certificate is 12 months from date of issue. The official recommendation for Provide First Aid and Child Care First Aid, is to renew your certification every 3 years

How much does a first aid course cost?

NOTE: Plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to course commencement. This allows for everyone to be seated and accounted for. Respecting the busy schedules of all those in attendance, late arrivals cannot always be admitted.

Provide CPR

Learn the proper application of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Your technique will be fine-tuned during a face-to-face first aid training session with your accomplished trainer, following an online first course comprising e-Learning that is carefully streamlined for faster completion.
