For essental life-saving skills, Provide CPR is a course you can complete in quick time.
Provide First Aid and Child Care First Aid are more comprehensive courses. They include CPR and more advanced First Aid, so there’s more e-Learning and a half-day of face-to-face training. First Aid certificates in these courses are ideal for career advancement.
CPR can be an absolute life-saver in cases of cardiac arrest and oxygen deprivation. Not to be confused with Level 1 First Aid (HLTAID002 Basic Emergency Life Support), this course will soon be reclassified as HTLAID009. But, like Level 1 First Aid, it also forms part of the Provide First Aid HLTAID003 and Emergency First Aid HLTAID004 courses.
This is our most popular course. It is ideal for workplace compliance. Also known as Level 2 First Aid or Senior First Aid — and soon to become HLTAID011 — this course includes the HLTAID001 – Provide CPR unit of competency, as well as HLTAID002 – Basic Emergency Life Support (Level 1 First Aid).
Also known as Child Care First Aid and Emergency First Aid, this course is being reclassified as HLTAID012. It’s the course you’d want to enrol in if you are planning to work in the childcare sector. With its extra focus on First Aid as applied to infants and children, it is also a compelling choice for parents.
