Types of First Aid

When people talk about first aid, they are referring to a set of first responses that can be performed in a range of medical emergency situations.

In Australia, these different types of medical responses are catalogued by the National Register of Vocational and Education Training as units of competencies.

When you learn these first aid competencies, you can earn a Statement of Attainment.

At Australia Wide First Aid, we deliver streamlined first aid courses covering CPR, as well as courses with more comprehensive first aid knowledge and skills.

These first aid courses are designed to holistically prepare students for hazards and emergencies they may encounter, either in their workplace or in everyday situations. Included in our first aid instruction is instruction in the use of first aid kits in emergency and non-emergency settings.
